For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You'll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin. Find out if this course is right for you.

Course Delivery

This qualification has a minimum requirement of six hours of study time, in a classroom, with a WSET course provider. Course provided in English Language.

Assessment

Assessment is by a closed-book exam of 30 multiple-choice questions.

Entry Requirements

There are no prerequisites for WSET Level 1 Wines
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to participate

Exam Re-sit

If you are unsuccessful, you can re-sit your exam. There is no limit to the amount of re-sit exam attempts. Each re-sit exam incurs a charge of 400. Please refer to the Exam Schedule and to book your exam, please email to wine@admmi.ae.

You are not permitted to re-sit any qualification to improve a Pass grade.
